Secret Bases in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are more than empty rooms where you can hide out for a while. Players can’t simply walk into these Secret Bases, however: creating a Secret Base requires a Digger Drill. If you’ve already made your way to a Secret Base, chances are you may already have a few Statues in your inventory. Secret Bases let players place Statues on them and give several bonuses.

Six League of Legends champions are receiving skins in the Coven skin line. Ashe, Evelynn, Ahri, Cassiopeia, Warwick, and Malphite will all be getting new Coven skins in the near future. The six skins will be added to the game’s PBE servers within the coming days.  The six new additions to the Coven skin line will join Camille, LeBlanc, Morgana, Zyra, and Lissandra, who have each already received skins for the line in the past.

Final Fantasy XIV‘s latest expansion Endwalker, released earlier in December, introduced high-end content with two Extreme trials: Zodiark’s Fall and Hydaelyn’s Call. Extreme trials are less challenging to complete than Savage and Unreal content such as Shadowbringers‘ Eden raids. But it is still an ample test of your skills, featuring staple mechanics like tank-busters, stack and spread attacks, and DPS checks. Hydaelyn’s Call is the harder of both Extreme trials released with patch 6.

Cosmetic skins are an excellent monetization model for free-to-play (F2P) games. CS:GO can be seen as the pioneer of this model with its independent economy made up of only cosmetic items, and more games picked up the same strategy after CS:GO’s release in 2012.  Considering the game’s been around for more than eight years now, there are more skins available for purchase than anyone can count. Not all the cosmetic items were created equally, however, and some boast a higher rarity rate than others.
