Riot Games confirmed the release of an upcoming album from League of Legends’ resident heavy metal band, Pentakill, earlier this week. And today, the company announced Pentakill’s return to League as the band’s existing skins are all set to receive extensive visual updates.
Pentakill has been a part of the League universe since 2010, with new music being released for the band in 2015. This year, a new synchronized drop of both music and in-game skins should give League fans plenty of content to stir over when it comes to Pentakill.
The Witch Queen is the major bombshell dropping into Destiny 2 in February 2022, but it’s not the only one. The game is kicking off Season of the Risen, its 16th season, on the same day as The Witch Queen’s release.
Season of the Risen’s story will relate closely to The Witch Queen’s, giving players even more to experience from Feb. 22 onwards. The Season of the Risen pass includes access to the seasonal activity, weapons, and more season pass rewards—including Upgrade Modules, the seasonal Exotic at level one, an Ornament set, Exotic Engrams, and extra Bright Dust.
Swirlix, the Cotton Candy Pokémon, has finally arrived in the world of Pokémon Go alongside a plethora of Fairy-type activities.
This Kalos-native Pokémon joins others with the Luminous Legends X event that started on May 4, marking the debut of the legendary Pokémon, Xerneas. First introduced in Pokémon X, it’s said that Swirlix uses white threads that resemble cotton candy to entangle its opponents in battle.
Alongside Swirlix debuts its evolved form, Slurpuff, the Meringue Pokémon.
Minecraft’s Wild Update introduced a new boss unlike any other into the game. The formidable Warden is a foe lurking beneath the surface that only spawns when players cause it to do so. The Warden has a total of 500 Health Points which makes it one of the hardest mobs to kill in all of Minecraft, boasting even more health than the end boss of the game, the Ender Dragon. This mob may be blind, but don’t let that fool you as the Warden can easily track down players using sound, vibrations, and smell.
One of the heroes to get the biggest reworks in Overwatch 2 is Orisa. Before, Orisa’s biggest utility was her shield and the ability to pull people into a moving orb. Now, Orisa is a very different tank. Gone are the days where players would stand behind her shield, but Orisa will likely still be an incredibly viable hero for the game, with new abilities that make her tough to play against.
