VALORANT Patch 2.04 expands rank queue range and increases Radiant challenge

With VALORANT‘s Patch 2.04 comes the beginning of a new competitive act. Episode Two, Act Two begins with the new patch featuring changes to the competitive ecosystem. We start at the bottom, with the players in the Iron, Bronze, and Silver ranks. Going forward, Riot has expanded the rank disparity for players queueing together in the lower levels. In October, Riot made it so all players had to queue within three ranks of each other.

What is tap-strafing in Apex Legends?

Respawn’s recent decision to remove tap-strafing from Apex Legends has caught the ire of many PC players. But some fans may be unfamiliar with the mechanic. As one of the battle royale’s more advanced mechanics, tap-strafing allows mouse and keyboard players to pull off quick maneuvers and change directions rapidly. But controller players can’t replicate it, prompting Respawn to level the playing field. Since Respawn announced that tap-strafing will be removed in Patch 10.

How to link your Among Us accounts

Among Us players can now link their account to various platforms where the game is available. With the new items and leveling system, released on Nov. 9, it’s important for Among Us players to have their account connected on every device they have the game on. But, as stated in Innersloth’s Emergency Meeting article yesterday, players need to read in-game instructions “VERY carefully,” so that they don’t “overwrite” the wrong Among Us account.

More server merges coming to New World

As promised in January’s New World dev update, more server merges are set to roll out around the globe. The development team announced a bunch of changes hitting the game in two waves, beginning today and concluding early tomorrow morning. These changes will take to servers in the regions Central EU, US-East, US-West, and Australia. For those in Europe, the server list is being reduced significantly as more than 25 servers fold into others.

Streamer AngelWalks says his brother died in the middle of his stream

During today’s Call of Duty: Warzone MFAM Gauntlet tournament, a streamer by the name of AngelWalks said that his brother died during his stream. In a clip from his latest broadcast, AngelWalks can be seen playing before loud screams are heard from the background. As these noises got louder, loud knocking can be heard on Angel’s door. Angel opened the door and two individuals can be heard, with one screaming and the other saying someone had died.
