Epic Games adds a ton of cool skins to Fortnite with every patch. Though there are promotional cosmetics as well, which players can claim for free, most will require players to spend V-Bucks. Whether it’s to buy the battle pass or unlock a skin off the shop, Fortnite players accumulate a decent amount of V-Bucks over their Fortnite careers.
Your V-Buck purchases can add up rather quickly over the years, however, even if you’re careful with how much you spend on online goods.
Most Exotic pulse rifles are solid in Destiny 2, but Outbreak Perfected is among the best of them. This Kinetic weapon creates bursts of SIVA nanite swarms on kills and precision hits which devour and gnaw opponents. Additionally, this weapon does more damage to enemies based on the number of SIVA nanites they have, ramping up its damage fairly quickly. These benefits get even more noticeable with more than one guardian running Outbreak Perfected on a fireteam.
As you play more PvP matches in Destiny 2, you’ll accumulate Crucible Ranks. Crucible Ranks are different from Glory, which determines a player’s rank in competitive modes. Older Destiny 2 players will recognize them as Valor Ranks, but Bungie changed their nomenclature and points value in Season of the Lost.
Getting to Crucible Rank 16 may be a challenging task, but with enough time in PvP, you can reach the maximum rank before you know it—especially if you do the weekly challenges, complete bounties, and play Iron Banner matches when it’s live.
2021 looks to be the year when MMO players get a few new options to complement the already extremely popular games World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XIV. Over the next few months, Amazon’s entry into the genre, New World, will launch, while the highly anticipated Intrepid Studios game Ashes of Creation heads into alpha testing.
Ashes of Creation brings a unique take on the MMO style, with players’ actions having permanent consequences for the in-game world.
It’s time to open your Minion Guide and choose your favorites in Final Fantasy XIV. The minions are a means to customize your character’s vibe, similar to glamours and mounts. They are little creatures that, when summoned, will follow your character everywhere in the lands of the game. Their use is purely aesthetic. Although they can fight in the Gold Saucer’s minigame Lords of Vermillion, they can’t be summoned in duties nor fight outside this game.
